Have you ever heard of Slick's Garage?

Well maybe you've heard of the TV hit series Deadliest Catch.

Slick will be building both a custom 1932 and 1955 coupe for Andy and Jonathan Hillstrand.

Slick contacted Monster Transmission after finding us online and in reviewing our Monster Trans site quickly realized that Monster Transmission was the company that was needed to complete the transmission build.

In speaking with Slick he needed a transmission that would withstand at least 500 hp and one that could take a beating. In watching Deadliest Catch and seeing how rough and tough the Hillstrand brothers are it was obvious that they needed a tough transmission.

Monster Transmission is no stranger to working with big horsepower applications that can withstand abuse. Being known as the Preferred Transmission Company for the SPEED Channel and the TV series Car Warriors we've built many tough transmissions.

Slick chose a solid Mega Monster SS 4L80E thats going to give Andy Hillstrand the right to say "Eat My Shift". As we always do we were sure to test this transmission and run it through all the stops to make sure it's going to give Andy Hillstrand the shifts that he is looking for.
